Haunter Cosplay- complete

My Haunter cosplay is complete!

For shoes, I'm just going to wear some flesh-toned jazz-type dance shoes, since Haunter doesn't have legs or anything
Will be wearing this to Otakon 2011

About the costume:
The top is made to resemble Haunter from the front, the skirt from the back (though this picture doesn't show too much of it).
Keeping this in mind, my idea was to represent Haunter's floating body. With purple shapes sort of concentrated in one place, my idea was to actually pay attention to the shapes and their position instead of looking at my body head to toe.
The black was necessary because of the elastic I used. Needed to balance the black out so I got black shorts and gloves. There is such a thing as too much purple.

I had some claws made out of craft foam that would sit over my entire finger. However as cool as they looked, anything over my fingers simply isn't practical for me as a photographer. So while cool, they had to be scrapped. Practicality and comfort is extremely important to me in a cosplay.
